New Lambton Dual Occupancy
Select Property Finder was contacted by a Sydney investor to assist with finding a property suitable for a dual occ. development in Newcastle. A property was found that met the criteria on a 538m2 in a good street in New Lambton. A bonus was that the property had driveways down both sides of the house, which would make sub-dividing the property so much easier, allowing both occupancies to have their own private driveway. Being from Sydney, Richard was unable to attend the auction day himself. So he relied on Judith to represent him on the day. Judith placed the highest bid, but the real estate agent kept pushing for a higher and higher price. Judith knew exactly how much the property was worth and how much her client was willing to spend, she refused to pay a dollar more than what was acceptable and walked away from the auction. Soon afterwards, the real estate agent accepted her bid. The client decided to complete the Development Application himself, but Judith was always there to lend a helping hand and point him in the right direction of planners and builders. The project has reached DA approval and the construction stage is just about to commence. Once the new home is built out the back, the property will be subdivided and the front house will be renovated to match.
