Dual Occupancy in Wallsend
Jordan from Sydney contacted Select Property Finder to assist in a dual occupancy project in Wallsend. Jordan was looking for an opportunity to use his building background and increase his property portfolio in Newcastle. He contacted Judith to locate a suitable property to develop and assist in the process. Judith found and secured the perfect property in Wallsend. While the old home was in a dated condition, the property ticked all the boxes. It was on a massive 732m2 block and had a very wide driveway, large enough that when the subdivision was done it could be split into two separate driveways, allowing both occupancies to have a level of privacy. After settlement, Jordan was able to undertake a really quick and beautiful renovation on the home. While the old home was being rented out, Judith was able to point Jordan in the right direction for planners and assist in the development application process. Jordan designed and built the second property himself. Now, both properties earn high rent and are positioned for great growth. The property manager loves it, the beautiful design attracts so many tenants that the property is always snapped up quickly whenever it’s put back on the market.
